Amanda and Trevor were married at the Celebrations Manor House surrounded by all of their loving friends and family! I have known these two for such a long time just by growing up in Midlothian, but I have never truly gotten to know them. They’ve been together for as long as I can remember, way back to high school! Finally getting to know them better after their engagement session and wedding, I adore the love they have for each other. They are also parents to their sweet boy who was a part of their first look, which I know they will cherish that memory forever.

Class of 2019 Senior Rep Program!

YAY!!! I have been looking forward to launching my new Senior Rep Program for so long! I can finally create a team of awesome seniors in the Richmond and surrounding areas now that my husband and I found the perfect place to settle down. I couldn’t be more excited about meeting my team, starting a group for seniors to make new, real, supportive friendships, and having a crazy amount of FUN celebrating together!!!!

My dream is to create a team that encourages young women to embrace their quirks and inspires other seniors to be confident in their own skin. I want to meet and accept girls who know what beauty really means, and that’s the sparkle inside them!

If you know anyone graduating in 2019 who might be interested in joining the team, send them my way! If YOU are interested in applying, what are you waiting for!? It can’t hurt to try something new, right? Share with your parents/legal guardian, tell your friends, and spread the word! This is going to be the best way to celebrate your last year of high school and start the beginning of a new chapter! I wish I had a group of galpals to do something like this with during my senior year!!

Whether you want to surprise your man or woman with a fun portrait session as a gift, or maybe use this as quality time to love on each other in front of the camera! You might have caught on, but I LOVE love, I can’t say it enough. This year I really wanted to celebrate love with couple’s that want to do the same!

LADIES:

Celebrate with your gal-pals, too! Get all dolled up with your best girlfriends and do something different this holiday season!! Valentine’s Day is about LOVE whether you have a partner or not! So grab your besties, throw on some red lipstick, a cute dress, and let’s celebrate friendship!

WHAT? 20-minute session with your significant other or your bestie(s)! Go casual with some flannels and sweaters, or get fancy with formal dress wear. This is your time to get those updated photos you’ve been wanting and have some fun with it!

AUNT REMY HAS NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED! I’m going to have a niece soon!!!

I seriously can’t wait to spoil this little girl with every sparkly, pink, pretty thing I can find! 🙂 My sister-in-law, Christielee, is literally the most amazing mother and I am so thankful I can learn allllll the things from her before Eli and I start a family. My brother, Dyan, is such a fun-loving, sweet Dad. He works so hard to support his family and it’s incredible to watch. I admire these two more than they know and I love this family so much that I could cry thinking about it! I mean, just look at my nephew… he’s the cutest kid I’ve ever freakin’ seen!!! Wait until you see those photos at the end!!

The Biase family is growing and growing and I’m loving every minute of it. I can’t wait to meet this cutie baby girl in December! Taking photos for family members is one of my favorite things and I’m so happy they asked me to do this maternity shoot. This baby is going to be welcomed into the world with a beautiful, loving family and a big fat camera in her face! 🙂 Being an Aunt is such a blessing. <3

Sara + Brian’s Family of FOUR

This family is so sweet and adorable- I can’t stand it!! I met Sara and Brian a while back through my brother and sister-in-law. I was so excited when Sarah asked me to take her maternity pictures! She is one STUNNING mama and she is glowing in these photos! I’m so happy she decided to bring her husband and son along for some family shots because they are TOO CUTE!!!!

Maternity sessions are one of my favorites because it’s such a special experience that only happens once with that child. There is something so beautiful about the look on a mother and father’s face when looking down with their hands wrapped around the baby bump. I can just tell exactly what they’re thinking in these moments… it warms my heart to feel all that love while freezing that moment in time and being able to deliver a gallery like this.

Like I said last week, headshots have been the go-to lately! I LOVE supporting other small business owners and getting together to learn more about each other! Holly is growing her own photography business and has been doing amazing. I have loved watching her blossom and improve with every step she takes. We had so much fun meeting up at Sunday Park to take some head shots of each other while we were both visiting our hometowns. It’s funny how you can “know of” someone for so long, then finally get to know them, lose touch again, and then reconnect and share the same passions. That’s basically been our friendship since high school… I am so glad we could get together and spend some quality time afterward with our hubbies during a gorgeous sunset! Holly is SO sweet, super fun, and has the warmest heart! Here are some pretty headshots of Holly on a beautiful evening in Midlothian, VA! She is STUNNING!!!

Engagement Session in RVA

In honor of these two lovely people getting married this weekend (EEE YAY!!), I figured I would share their sweet engagement session from this past winter! Kayla was my random roommate during my first year at East Carolina University. Sure enough, after her soon-to-be hubby proposed a few years later, she reached out to book their engagement session with me!

I was seriously SO excited for this! Kayla and Randy are crazy fun, so in love, and they just radiate happiness!! This particular winter day was, of course, absolutely FREEZING. I don’t know how she did it, but she was really a trooper wearing those dresses in that frigid weather! She looked stunning and these images are some of my favorites!! Cloudy skies turned into the most perfect golden hour. You’ll definitely want to stick around to see how this session ended on Libby Hill! Allll the heart eyes for that lighting and these two love birds! 🙂
