Celebrations at the Reservoir Wedding | Amanda + Trevor

Amanda and Trevor were married at the Celebrations Manor House surrounded by all of their loving friends and family! I have known these two for such a long time just by growing up in Midlothian, but I have never truly gotten to know them. They’ve been together for as long as I can remember, way back to high school! Finally getting to know them better after their engagement session and wedding, I adore the love they have for each other. They are also parents to their sweet boy who was a part of their first look, which I know they will cherish that memory forever.

Congratulations to Amanda and Trevor, wishing you many blessings!

Richmond Engagement Session | Christa + Rob

Christa and Rob are without a doubt one of my favorite couples. They are joyful, silly, fun, and madly in love with each other. Their cuteness is overwhelming and their love for each other makes my heart so happy! Their engagement session last Fall was absolutely stunning. We started at the VA State Capitol with soft colors and formal outfits. Then we made our way to Belle Isle while they changed into the most perfect Fall outfits! The shoot was complete with golden sunshine over the river and a colorful sunset while walking over the bridge. It was a beautiful evening for two beautiful souls. I can’t wait to share their recent wedding pictures based in Richmond with a church ceremony and Monument Avenue portraits!

A Charming Virginia Plantation Wedding | Hannah + Evan

Hannah and Evan tied the knot on June 8th at Bonneville Farm, where Hannah’s Dad owns land. Their wedding was a mix of southern charm and a classy backyard wedding! I loved how unique everything was, from the bride’s custom gown, to the romantic carriage ride, a touching moment between the bride and her sweet nieces, and so much more! It may have rained half the day, but it cleared up just in time for a beautiful ceremony, fun pictures, and an awesome reception!

One of my favorite moments of the day was in the beginning when Hannah gave her nieces a gift. She actually illustrated, published, and printed her own book called “Girls Can Drive Tractors” as a reminder that girls can do anything! How special is that!? You can even buy your own copy through this link HERE! I just love that she went out of her way to create something so meaningful for these girls and shared it with them on her wedding day.

As the ceremony was approaching, the rain completely cleared and Hannah and her dad rode in the horse carriage all the way down the long gravel driveway to stop right in front of aisle. Evan and everyone else saw Hannah for the first time as she got out of the carriage and it was the greatest bridal entrance ever. The family’s adorable fluffy dogs seemed to also want to walk her down the aisle too- it was so cute! After a perfect ceremony, everyone was ready to have some fun and that’s exactly what they did. I love how they setup the pretty reception outside in the front yard with an awesome outdoor bar and a great band! Everything turned out amazing and every detail was so fitting to Hannah and Evan’s style.

After learning more about these two during the speeches, it was obvious how loved they are and how perfect they are for each other. I loved this wedding day and working with such a wonderful couple. Thank you Hannah and Evan for allowing me to be a part of your special day and congratulations!!!
