Bridal Portraits in RVA

Before Kim and Brendan’s big day, I met her at their wedding venue – the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) – for her own bridal portraits. Kim wore her ceremony dress, the first of her three wedding day looks. It was a modern romantic dress with floral lace details and a sweetheart neckline. These will always be some of my favorite bridal portraits- she looked like an absolute DREAM.

Emily and Josh’s Engagement Session

How adorable are Emily and Josh?! We hit three of my favorite spots for their Richmond engagement photoshoot – Brown’s Island, VMFA, and Libby Hill!

In true Remy Photos fashion, we included a champagne pop to get the party started and kept the energy up with shots from the most beautiful bottle of tequila I’ve ever seen. It even matched their outfits, down to her stylish shoes.

I just love these two and their chemistry- what a dream photoshoot!

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Wedding | Kim + Brendan

Kim and Brendan’s VMFA wedding was one for the books. Kim dreamed up the most classy, chic, fun, and colorful wedding day with so many amazing vendors! She packed in 3 dress changes, 3 venues, and 1 visit from her fur baby – also named Remy – all before their getaway in an antique Bentley.

In true Richmond fashion, they took the RVA Trolley from their ceremony at Pro-Cathedral of St. Peter to the reception at VMFA. Once inside, guests could get a caricature of themselves or watch as a live painter painted a scene from the church!

These two dated for 12 years before Brendan proposed. Then, they had to reschedule their big day due to COVID. Their faces walking down the aisle showed how long awaited this day had been, and how happy they were that it was finally here! Congratulations, friends!

Maymont & VMFA Engagement Session| Lindsey + Peyton

I fall in love with these two cuties a little more each time I photograph them! Lindsey and Peyton are incredibly sweet, such a joy to be around, and their love for one another so obviously shines through each image. Having that someone special stand by your side and remain as your rock through thick and thin is a true blessing. I’ve seen Peyton and Lindsey grow stronger in their love and hold each other’s hands through the tests of times and I truly admire that about them. I have known both of them and their families for a long time from growing up in the same area, so watching them flourish together has been amazing. There is no doubt in my mind that God placed these two together at the right time. I can’t imagine anyone more perfect for each other in every way. When Lindsey asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was absolutely thrilled! I can’t wait to see these two become husband and wife this September! This wedding is going to be so special and memorable to me and I thank you, Lindsey and Peyton, for choosing me to celebrate your big day with you and your loved ones. I love you guys!!!
